Aunt Libby's Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 2 eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1/4 t salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 3 T cocoa
• vanilla
• 2 cups sugar
• 2/3 cup sour cream
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 T cocoa
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 2 1/2 cup flour
• 1 cup boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

beat 2 eggs add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup sour cream. Sift 1 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp Baking Soda 3 T cocoa and add to the egg mixture. Add vanilla.

Mix cocoa with enough hot water to make a paste. Add sugar and eggs, beat thoroughly. Add butter and sour cream. Sift baking soda and flour and add to the above mixture and mix well to combine. Add 1 cup boiling water and pour into greased and floured pan.
Bake 20 minutes slow and 20 minutes fast. (?)
