Sausage Lentil One Pot Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 3/4 oz dry lentils, about 1 c, rinsed
  • 5 Italian sausages
  • 1/2 c uncooked brown rice
  • 2 c carrots shredded
  • 3 1/2 c water
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Cook sausages. Slice.
Rinse lentils.
Place all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook until rice is done, about 20 minutes.
