Ingredients
- 1 (18-1/4 oz.) pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix
- 1 c. evaporated milk, divided
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 (14-oz.) pkg. caramels, unwrapped
- 1-1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1-1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Stir dry cake mix, 2/3 cup evaporated milk and butter until moistened. Spread half mixture in bottom of greased 13"x9" baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes; cool. Heat caramels and remaining evaporated milk in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until caramels are melted.
Sprinkle brownies with chocolate chips; drizzle with caramel mixture. Top with pecans. Spread remaining batter over top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
