Rugelach

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • Rasberry preserves
  • pecans or walnuts-chopped
  • cinnamon and sugar-2 teasp. cinnamon to 1/2 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together cream cheese, butter, and flour and divide into 4 equal parts. Chill overnight. Press into 8" pie pans or roll out on lightly floured board to 8" circle.

Spread with rasberry preserves cinnamon and sugar and chopped pecans leaving 1/4 inch at edge and 2" circle in middle.

Cut each pan into 12 wedges and roll creaent style. Brush with egg wash(1 egg plus 1 teasp. water). Bake 375 degrees for 20-25 mins. on greased sheet pan.
