Melted Snowman Cookies

These Melted Snowman Cookies are so cute! If you listen carefully you can hear them saying - 'Quick, please eat me before I melt!' Happy Holidays and enjoy!

Ingredients

• Your favorite sugar cookie recipe
• Large marshmallows
• Royal icing
• Colored frosting to pipe details

Preparation

Step 1

Roll cookie dough into 1" - 1 1/2" balls. Pat into irregular oval shapes on cookie sheet - the tops should not be even, leave deep puddles from patting the dough.

Bake cookies. Cool.

Ice with white royal icing. Let the icing drip over the edges of the cookies.

Place the flat edges of large marshmallows on a microwave save plate coated with non-stick cooking spray. Microwave for 15 seconds. Check to be sure they're not melted. They should be soft and slightly puffy but not melted or sticky.

Coat fingers with non-stick cooking spray.

Place one marshmallow on each iced cookie.

Drip more white royal icing over the marshmallows and onto the cookie.

Let white royal icing set.

Pipe on coal eyes and mouth, carrot nose, stick arms, buttons, scarf and hat. Let frosting set and store in airtight container.
