Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. lite corn syrup (Karo)
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 . c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Remove unpopped kernals from popped popcorn.
Combine all ingredients and cook on medium-high for about 7 minutes for a single batch, 8 minutes for a double. Begin timing when mixture comes to a boil. Add food coloring when boiling and stop stirring while mixture is at a rolling boil. Cook to soft ball stage and remove from heat when mixture gels together in cold water. Immediately pour over prepared popcorn and form into shaped balls with buttered hands. Wrap in plastic.
