Dumplings for Stew 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

Sift 1 cup flour, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp baking powder together. Add 1/2 cup whole milk and 2 tbsp vegetable oil to make a soft dough.
Drop by spoonfuls over the stew, covering the top. Cover tightly and steam without lifting the lid for 12-15 minutes or until the dumplings are fluffy.
