Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds toasted
- 3/4 tsp ground ginger or 2 tsp grated fresh gingerroot 2 tsp pepper
- 2 pounds beef sirloin steak*, cut into 1/2 inch strips
Preparation
Step 1
In a large resealable bag combine first eight ingredients; add steak and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Drain and discard marinade. Thread steak strips onto metal skewers. (or soaked wooden skewers) Grill, covered, over indirect medium heat for 15 minutes or until meat reaches desired doneness. Turn occasionally. 8 servings
*could use any favorite cut
