Best ever spaghetti sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • 1/2 pound ground Italian sausage
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 cans (15 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cans (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T canola oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 2 T fresh basil
  • 1 T oregano
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 t marjoram
  • 1/2 t pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown meat in a pan and drain grease.
2. Add all ingredients to crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours. Add extra water if necessary.
3. Serve with whole wheat pasta.
