Mom's Mac and Cheese (light)

Ingredients

  • 3/4 - 1 pound whole wheat pasta
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 1/2 2% sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 T paprika
  • 1 T cayenne pepper
  • 2 T dry mustard

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt butter and flour slowly together.
2. Add milk slowly and stir until thick.
3. Add 3/4 of the cheese and stir in the cayenne pepper.
4. Cook Macaroni until al dente and add cheese sauce
5. Pour into pan, put paprika over macaroni and cheese and bake at 350 degrees until brown.
