Zeppoles - custard

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 qt milk
  • 1 Tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla or rum flavoring
  • For chocolate custard
  • 3 Tablespoons of coco
  • 1 Tablespoon of oil

Preparation

Step 1

In saucepan blend sugar, eggs & cornstarch, *slowly adding the milk while stirring constantly over low – medium heat. Stir just til it comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Cover with wax paper only. Refrigerate overnight.

*add coco & oil here for chocolate
