Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup. all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbs. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup. 2 % milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 egg whites
- cooking spray
Preparation
Step 1
Combine the first 3 ingredients and set aside.
Combine milk, vanilla, egg, and egg whites in a 2-quart
glass measure or large bowl, stirring with a wire whisk until blended. Gradually add the flour mixture to the milk mixture, stirring with a wire whisk until blended.
Heat popover pans to 450* for 3 mins. Remove pans from oven, and coat with cooking spray.
Divide batter evenly among 8 cups, filling each half full.
Bake at 450* for 10 mins., reduce heat to 350*, and bake an additional 25 mins. or until puffed and golden.
Remove popovers from pans, and serve immediately.
