Pasta with Prosciutto and Green Peas

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small white onion, chopped
  • 6 oz proscuitto, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c green peas
  • 2 c half-n-half
  • 1/2 c heavy cream
  • 1/2 c dry white wine
  • 1/2 c Parmesan cheese
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • 1 box pasta

Preparation

Step 1

Sauce onion in olive oil, until transparent. Add white wine and cook until in evaporates. Add all creams and cook until sauce thickens slightly. Add cheese. Keep stirring. Add peas and proscuitto. Cook until warmed through. Add salt/pepper.
