Sauteed Chicken with Sage

Sauteed Chicken with Sage 0 Picture


  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 c white wine
  • fresh sage leaves washed and patted dry (about 16)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan



Step 1

1. warm 2 tbsp. olive oil in skillet on medium high heat
2. Season chicken with salt and pepper
3. Cook chicken until golden on both sides (6 minutes)
4. Remove chicken and put on plate
5. Reduce heat to medium
6. Add remaining olive oil and sprinkle in the flour and whisk until it is golden in color (1-2 minutes)
7. Whisk in broth and wine, bring to a simmer and add chicken back in
8. place leaves on chicken and sprinkle with cheese
9. Cover and reduce heat to medium low and cook till done (6 minutes)
