Oven-Fried Chips

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. olive oil, divided
  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 potato, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 t. dried rosemary
  • 1 t. lemon zest
  • 1 t. kosher salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • 1/4 t. cinnamon
  • 1/8 t. nutmeg
  • 1/8 t. ground ginger
  • 1 t. orange zest
  • 1 t. sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 2 baking sheets with a teaspoon each of olive oil. in single layers, arrange sweet potato slices on one sheet; arrange white potato slices on the other. Use a pastry brush and remaining olive oil to lightly coat the top of each potato slice.

Bake at 400 degrees until golden and crisp, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Combine rosemary, lemon zest, salt and pepper. In another bowl, combine remaining ingredients. While still warm, sprinkle sweet potato chips with cinnamon mixture; sprinkle white potato chips with rosemary mixture.
