Chocolate Pudding

Here's a really rich but simple homemade pudding. A small serving will satisfy.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 4 cups whipping cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Step 1
Combine cornstarch and 1/2 cup water, stirring until smooth. Bring whipping cream to a simmer in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir in cornstarch mixture, sugar, and remaining ingredients, stirring constantly until chocolate melts. Cook pudding, stirring constantly, 8 minutes or until thick and creamy. Serve warm or chilled.
