Ingredients
- 6 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into strips
- 1/8 tsp salt
- Dash pepper
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 C sliced sweet red pepper
- 1/2 C sliced green pepper
- 1/2 C sliced onion
- 3/4 tsp white wine vinegaqr
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
- 2 sliced provolone cheese (1 oz each)
- 2 sub buns
Preparation
Step 1
- Saute chicken, salt and pepper in oil until done; remove and keep warm
- In same skillet saute peppers, onion, and garlic; Stir in vinegar, pepper sauce and chicken
- Divide mixture into buns; top with cheese
- Broil 4 - 6 inches from heat until cheese melts; replace bun tops
