Ingredients

  • 4 T butter
  • 4 T flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 3/4 of a 16 oz box of pasta, any shape.

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta as directed (more al dente than over done).

Melt butter over low heat. Blend in flour & seasonings.
Bubble 1 minute.
Remove from heat. Stir in milk. Bring to boil. Add cheese.
Stir until thickened.
Add to cooked pasta in a 2 1/2 quart dish.
Top with bread crumbs.
Bake 20-25 minutes at 350.
