elbow macaroni with meat sauce

  • 1 lb beef 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 tsp oregano leaves
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/8 ground black pepper
  • 1 3/4 cups whole tomatoes, undrained 1/2 package large elbows uncooked
  • 1 cup tomato sauce grated parmesan cheese optional



Step 1

in large skillet, brown beef, onion and garlic until onion is tender, drain. Stir tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, and seasonings, heat to boiling. Reduce heat, simmer 15 min. stirring occasionally to break up tomatoes with spoon. Cook pasta according to package directions. Toss hot pasta with meat sauce, sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
