Sautéed Corn

Ingredients

  • Large bag of frozen corn, thawed (about 7 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (or unsalted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Coat the bottom of a large, heavy sauté pan with the olive oil (or melted butter). Add the corn, salt, and pepper. Sauté uncovered on medium-low heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until all the starchiness in the corn is gone. Taste, for salt and pepper, and serve.
