Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, dried or chopped if fresh
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450° F.

Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl. Add egg, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Divide into 4 equal parts. Divide and roll each part into 4 meatballs. Place equally apart on a greased baking sheet.

Roast in oven for 15 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.

Note:
• Meatballs should always be well done before being added to another recipe.
