Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Meringue Powder
- 1 pound bag of confectioners' sugar
- 1/3 cup very hot tap water
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter (must be less then 1 year old or it is expired)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar and meringue powder in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the dry ingredients so you can see a small bit of the bottom of the bowl. Pour hot water into well and mix for about 10 minutes at power level 4 without stopping.
Look for 3/4 inch peaks when whipping. If edges crust remove them, do not whisk them into icing.
