Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds fresh pork shoulder, trimmed
  • 3 T barbecue seasoning
  • 1/2 C ketchup
  • 1/2 C cider vinegar
  • 1/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 t worcestershire sauce
  • 1 t ground mustard
  • 1/2 t crushed red pepper
  • Crusty buns

Preparation

Step 1

Place pork in slow cooker.

In a small bowl, mix barbecue seasoning, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, ground mustard, and red pepper until blended. Pour over pork. Cover.

Cook 4 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low. Remove pork from slow cooker.

Shred pork, using two forks. Return pork to slow cooker, mix, and heat with sauce before serving.
