Ingredients

  • 1.5 Lbs lean bottom round, cubed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeno, minced
  • 1/4 cup habanero salsa
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp ground chipotle
  • 1 tsp New Mexican chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp lime zest

Preparation

Step 1

Quickly brown the beef in a nonstick skillet. Add to a 4 quart slow cooker.

In a small bowl, whisk the rest of the ingredients. Pour over the beef, Stir.

Cook on low for 6 hours, remove the cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. Stir before serving
