Cauliflower with Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch cauliflower
  • 6 oz. extra sharp shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 pint heavy cream
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt / pepper
  • 3 Tablespoons cilantro; chopped (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Steam cauliflower about 5 minutes; remove surface moisture with paper towel. Stir heavy cream and grated cheese to make a paste; season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Place cauliflower in casserole dish and spread the cheese mixture over cauliflower. Broil until sauce is slightly brown and bubbly. Garnish with cilantro
