Ingredients

  • 1/2 Loaf of Bread, stale is best
  • Enough Milk to cover
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Raisins
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Butter
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Break bread fine and cover with milk. Set on stove where it is not too hot, to soften. Remove from stove and stir in egg, sugar, raisins, salt, butter, and cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with sugar and cream.
