- 450 gram loaf, day old French bread, cut into 1-inch squares
- 4 cups 2% Milk
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons butter,
- WILD TURKEY SAUCE:
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup Wild Turkey Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey

Preparation
Step 1
%{color: red}Soak the raisins overnight in 1/4 cup bourbon%
%{color: red}Preheat upper oven to convection 350⁰F%
Generously butter, bottom and sides of 9x13 baking dish.

* Soak the bread in milk in a large mixing bowl, stir until milk is absorbed.
* In another bowl beat eggs, sugar, vanilla and spices together.
* Stir into the bread mixture.
* Add the soaked raisins.
* Pour the bread mixture into the well butter baking dish.
*%{color: firebrick}Bake for 35-45 minutes%*

* Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
* Add the egg, whisking well.
* Add the sugar.
* Whisk in bourbon to taste.
* Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
* Remove from heat.
* The sauce should be soft, creamy, and smooth.
* Whisk before serving.
