Butter tarts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 eggs 2 cups raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Gradually blend brown sugar into butter. Add eggs and mix until well beaten. Stir in the resr of the ingredients. Fill shells 3/4 full with mixture. Bake at 400 *F for 15 to 18 min or until filling is set and pastry is cooked. The mixture stores extremely well. Cover and keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
