Crispy French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c egg substitute
  • 1/2 c fat free milk
  • 1/4 c orange juice
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • dash ground nutmeg
  • 12 slices day old French bread 1/4 in thick
  • 1 1/2 c crushed corn flakes

Preparation

Step 1

In a shallow dish, combine the egg substitute, milk, orange juice, vanilla and nutmeg. Add bread; soak for 5 min, turning once. Coat both sides of each slice with cornflakes.

Place in a 15x10 baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 425 for 10 min, turn. Bake 5-8 more min longer or until golden brown.
