Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 green pepper diced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup green olives chopped
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in frying pan and add onions, saute until onions are golden but not black about 10 minutes. Add garlic and green pepper and gently saute 5 minutes. Add beef and break up into small pieces as it browns. Drain if excess fat. Add tomato sauce and mix well. Add rest of the ingredients and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until meat is cooked through and flavors blended about 15 minutes. Taste for seasoning. Add salt and pepper to taste and more vinegar and worcestershire sauce if necessary.
