Lu's Fruit Salad

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup sliced bananas
- 12 large marshmallows, quartered
- 1 cup diced oranges
- 1/2 cup canned toasted almonds (or toast own)
- 1 cup well-drained pineapple tidbits
- 1 cup seedless grapes
- 8 maraschino cherries
- pinch salt
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped

Preparation
Step 1
In double boiler, beat egg with fork. Stir in lemon juice, sugar and salt. Cook over hot water. Stir 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat.
When cool, fold in whipped cream, marshmallows and fruit. Refrigerate overnight
