How to Cut Up a Pineapple

Start with a large, sharp chef's knife and a ripe fruit.
Cut off top 1/2 inch below leafy part. Then take 1/2 inch off bottom.
Set pineapple upright. Slice downward to remove rind and "eyes."
Cut into 4 wedges; discard tough core. Then slice wedges into smaller pieces.
