Oil-Free Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz/398 ml) low-sodium chickpeas, drained and rinsed (water reserved)
  • 2 tbsp. chickpea water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup raw tahini
  • 5 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 4 - 8 drops chipotle Tabasco sauce (to taste)
  • 3/4 tsp. no-salt (or omit)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until completely smooth. Garnish with paprika, if desired. Transfer to air-tight container and store in refrigerator.
