Asian Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs soy sauce - low sodium
  • 2 tbs hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbs sherry
  • 1 tbs firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbs peanut oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sherry, brown sugar, peanut oil, garlic salt and cinnamon in a small bowl, whisk well. Pour over pork tenderloin and marinate for 3 hours in the frig. Turn occasionally to coat meat.

2. Preheat the grill

3. Remove meat from frig, drain marinade (reserve marinade). Grill about 6 inches from the heat for about 20 minutes, turning and basting occasionally. Pork should reach and temp of 160. Let rest 5 min before slicing.
