Sweet Cherry-Kiss Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c salted butter
• 1 c powdered sugar
• 2 drops red food coloring
• 2 t maraschino cherry juice
• 1/2 t vanilla, almond, or raspberry extract
• 2 1/4 c flour
• 2/3 c maraschino cherries, chopped
• 36 hershey kisses

Preparation

Step 1

With mixer on medium speed, beat butter 1 min. On low speed, beat in next 4 ingredients. Slowly beat in flour. Beat in cherries 30 seconds. Place 1in dough balls on greased baking sheets. Press center with thumb. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes or until done. Press kisses into cookies. Let cool.
