Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 5 c. flour
  • 4 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. anise oil
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together flour and baking powder, set aside. Melt 1/2 lb. margarine. Cool and add anise oil and vanilla. Beat eggs (foams), add sugar. Mix well. Add flour & baking powder mixture, mix well. Let rest 20 min. Form balls shaped w/ floured hands & cook in iron.
Store in airtight container in a cool place.
