Greens

Everyone who's ever eaten these swear they're the best they've had. When I'm managing fat, I omit the butter, and they're still good.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon (or ham bits)
  • 6 c. water
  • 1 TBS Lady's House Seasoning
  • 1 TBS seasoned salt
  • 1 TBS hot sauce
  • 2 bags greens (prefer mustards)
  • 8 TBS butter

Preparation

Step 1

Add water, House Seasoning, seasoned salt, and hot sauce. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 1 hour. Place greens in pot. Add butter. Cook for 45 to60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
