Ingredients
- 2 lbs haddock fillets
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 1 or 2 tomatoes
Preparation
Step 1
Grease baking dish. Melt butter in fry pan, saute onion and celery until tender. Add salt, thyme and bread crumbs; toss well. Place half of fish in dish, cover with half of sauteed dressing, add pieces of chopped tomato. Repeat with second half of fish, dressing and chopped tomato. Melt a small quantity of extra butter to pour over top. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes per inch thickness. This includes dressing thickness.
