Ingredients
- 1 C butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 C flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 C semisweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 C chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the salt, soda and flour. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts. Mix until well blended. Press batter into a 15x10 jelly roll pan.
Bake 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into bars and let cool in pan on wire rack.
