Blackberry Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding
Preheat oven to 350
- 1 qt heavy cream
- 1 c sugar
- 1 T vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 # bread cut up(I used Challah)
- 1 pt blackberries
- 8 oz semisweet chocolate chips
In a large mixing bowl add the first 4 ingredients and stir with a whisk until incorporated.
Add the rest of the ingredients and toss them all together.
For fresher breads allow to sit for 15 minutes (or more). For older breads let sit for at least an hour.
Place in baking dish and cook for at least one hour or until a toothpick can be inserted in the center and pulled out clean.
