Sausage and Egg Souffle

Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 12 slices of white bread, crusts removed and cubed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 lb. mild sausage
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Crumble and slightly brown sausage. Drain and cool. In mixing bowl beat eggs and then add milk, salt and mustard. Ad cubed bread and stir. Add cheese and sausage and put into 9x13 glass baking dish. Put in refrigerator 2 days or at least overnight before baking. Cover with foil and bake 40-45 mins. at 350'. Watch carefully so the bottom doesn't burn. Let stand a few minutes after baking and before cutting and serving.
