Green Beans with tomatoes

Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/4 pounds trimmed green beans - frozen green beans work fine too
- 1 15 oz can stewed tomatoes pureed
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of allspice

Preparation
Step 1
Cook onions in olive oil about 5 minutes.
Add green beans, stewed tomatoes, water, salt and pepper, cinnamon and allspice. Partially cover and simmer, 35 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
