Festive Pineapple-cranberry salad

Ingredients

  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple-undrained
  • 2- 4 oz jello raseberry flavor
  • 1-16 oz can cranberry whole sauce
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 2/3 cup chop[ped walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Remove 1 tbs pineapple, set aside. Add enough cold water to juice to measuire 3 cups. Pour into saucepan and bring to boil, remove from heat. Add dry jello and mix well. Stir in cranberry sauce,. Pour into large bowl and refrigerate. 1 1/2 hours or until slightly thickened.
Stir in pineapple, apple and walnuts.
Refrigerate 4 hours and until firm. Garnish with reserved pineapple, sliced apple and some fresh min t.
Serves 14 1/2 cup servings
