Maple Bacon Roasted Pecans

Ingredients
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. bacon grease (from cooked bacon)
- 1 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line baking sheet with foil and place wire rack on top. Set bacon on wire rack and bake for about 15 minutes until crispy. Reserve bacon grease that has dripped into foil-lined pan. Set bacon aside.
Toss pecans in bacon grease, maple syrup, ginger, and cinnamon. Spread pecans in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes until pecans are fragrant, stirring 1-2 times throughout.
Allow pecans to cool, and crumble cooked bacon. Mix bacon in with pecans and serve.
