Rich Tea Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp creme tartar
  • 1/2 cup butter cold
  • 3/4 cup cold milk

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients . Add milk. Drop on cookie sheet or roll out and cut into 2 inch circles. Brush tops with milk. Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes until light brown. Serve hot with butter. 1/2 of the recipe makes 4 biscuits.
