Ingredients
- 1 tbsp light muscavado sugar
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp black treacle
- 1 tbsp tomato pure
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 4 large thick pork belly rashes, skin removed
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 can baked beans in tomato sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Oven 180C.
Mix together sugar, vinegar, treacle, tomato pure and mustard.
Put the pork in a small roasting tin with 1-2 tbsp water. Brush the pork with half the marinade and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 40-45 min, turning and brushing with the remaining marinade halfway through cooking.
Tip can of beans into the tin 10 minutes before the pork is done. Stir well and serve.
