White Chocolate Crisps

Ingredients

  • 1 cup golden flavour Crisco shortening
  • 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups Robin Hood wheat and oat flour or all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 squares Baker's white chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening, sugars, egg, milk and vanilla at medium speed. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, beating at low speed until blended. Stir in chocolate and cereal. Mix well. Crop by heaping spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet, leaving room for spreading. Bake at 375 degree for 8-10 mins. or until golden.

Freeze well.
