- 1 c. white sugar
- 2/3 c. real maple syrup
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. water

Step 1
Butter an 8” square pan and set aside. Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook without stirring until mixture reaches 285o. Remove from heat. Pour quickly into prepared pan. To avoid sugaring, pour in only as much mixture as flows freely; don’t let mixture drip slowly into pan and don’t scrape pan.
