Blueberry-Colada Smoothie

Blueberries are incredibly good for you. At a mere 80 calories per cup, blueberries are a good source of vitamin C, fiber, potassium, lutein and a host of phytochemicals.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup light coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp honey, if desired

Preparation

Step 1

If using fresh blueberries, add 1 cup crushed ice, or use pineapple juice frozen as ice cubes instead

Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve.
