Ingredients

    Tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature

  • 2

    cloves garlic, chopped

  • 2

    Tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley Kosher salt and black pepper

  • 1

    14-to 16 oz baguette, split lengthwise

Directions

Heat over to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper. Dividing evenly, spread the baguette halves with the garlic butter. On a rimmed baking sheet, bake, cut-side up, until lightly toasted, 8-10 minutes. Cut into pieces before serving. ***Make ahead tip: The garlic butter can be made up to 4 days in advance; refrigerate, covered.
